This is an achievement we are extremely proud of, we have regained our title of "Fullers Mastercellerman of The Year", we won it first in 2007 and were runners up last year. This picture shows us both being presented the award by Head Brewer John Keeling. It is a coverted award and takes time and dedication to achieve. To be awarded it by Fullers, again, is something that we consider to be one of the most important moments in both of our professional lives.
A view of The Red Lion from Castelnau at night.
This is the garden bar & grill. We are popular for our burgers and steaks. It may look like a shed but there is more than meets the eye !

The Red Lion's beer garden is a major draw for everybody when the sun is shining. It is one of the biggest beer gardens around and a massive attraction for the pub.

This is a shot of our non-smoking decking, it is heated when it gets chilly, sitting out here you wouldn't think you are only thirty minutes from the West End.

Let's not forget a pub is all about people, meet "Half Pint", the Red Lion's pub dog, rarely seen during opening hours due to him being a moody old border collie, he much prefers the company of a squeaky ball to a human any day. If you are lucky however he can be spotted close to opening & closing times.
